限界ゲージ
検査対象にゲージを挿入し、形状が許容範囲内であるかを合否判定します。
判定には、通りゲージと止りゲージを使用します。
例として穴形状の合否判定の場合、
- 止り側ゲージが入らない、通り側ゲージが入る場合：合格
- 止り側ゲージが入る場合：穴が大き過ぎるため不合格
- 通り側ゲージが入らない場合：穴が小さ過ぎるため不合格
